gingcom GmbH is part of the BDT group based in Rottweil/ Germany with worldwide activities and approx. 850 employees. BDT is a leading manufacturer of tape autoloaders and libraries. BDT operates its own development, production and service locations in Germany, the U.S.A., Mexico and China. As an OEM partner, the BDT group has manufactured products for the largest IT and office technology providers worldwide.

BDT Storage Automation
BDT AG is the largest OEM developer and manufacturer of magnetic tape autoloaders. Approximately 80 per cent of all autoloaders and some 30 per cent of the tape libraries sold worldwide every year are manufactured by BDT. To date, over 600,000 tape autoloaders have been produced by BDT.

BDT Paper Handling
BDT has developed paper input and output solutions for high-performance printers, copiers, and ATMs for over 40 years. Leading global manufacturers integrate OEM assemblies made by BDT into their equipment for ink, laser, and offset printing as well as cash handling machines. Over 2.5 million paper handling units have been manufactured by BDT.

BDT Competence
BDT offers end to end services from product inception through production and worldwide service throughout the life of a product.
More than 150 BDT employees in Germany are committed to the development of new products, materials and technologies. Since 1967, BDT engineers and a network of highly specialized suppliers all over the world have developed innovative products in electronics, electro-mechanics, fine mechanics and plastics technology. Software for the control and integration of the BDT systems complement the all-round solutions offered by BDT. More than 100 patents testify to the innovation of BDT. Purchasing, procurement and logistics are combined into the worldwide BDT supply chain which ensures customers extremely short development times, with world market pricing. BDT's production facilities in Germany, Mexico, and China are certified to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS. These facilities provide a cost effectiveness and uncompromising quality management of all BDT products. Service and repair are defined as integral components of product development and market cultivation by BDT. BDT's own repair centers are located in the U.S., Germany, and China.

BDT Management and Structure
BDT AG, is managed by the second generation of owners and has had two directors since 2005. Friedhelm Steinhilber serves as Chairman of the Board and Nikolaus Kinzler is responsible for the financial department.
